Review of the Schwarzkopf Professional Blondme Keratin Restore Blonde Mask

Hi Beauties! Today I am going to talk about my latest discovery from Schwarzkopf. Given that I am not a natural blonde, I regularly put my hair through a lot in order to get the ash blonde shade that I love - this of course comes at a cost and means that my poor locks are incredibly dry and damaged.

The Keratin Restore Blonde Mask claims to repair internal structure of the hair and strengthen it so I was excited to give it a go and see how well it works for my hair.

The first thing that I noticed when I tried this product is the fact that it smells wonderful! The hair mask also comes in a generous 200ml jar so it will last a good while before you have to stock up again.

The hair mask itself has a great consistency, it is not too thick or too runny, so it is easy to distribute onto the hair without making a mess. I tend to apply it from the ends of my hair up to the mid lengths and that generally takes approximately a teaspoon of product even though I have thick shoulder length hair.

When I first tried this product, I kept it on for around 7 minutes before washing it off and the results were amazing! My hair felt so soft and silky - it was such a great feeling to have the life back into my usually limp and dry locks. This treatment did wonders for my hair and I found that my hair was much easier to manage and style afterwards as well.

I love to use this restoring hair mask once a week as a treat for my hair and to help keep it in the best shape possible. Given the constant maintenance that I need in order to maintain my blonde locks (like getting my roots done every 3 weeks!), I am considering dying my hair darker for a while to give my hair (and wallet!) a much needed break. I feel that blonde hair suits me better than my natural medium blown colour so I anticipate that I will be back to being a blonde again next year!

Overall, I really like this keratin hair mask and feel that it gives some much needed hydration and strength to my hair. I really love the way that this product smells and the fact that the nice scent lingers in my hair for a while after washing. Each time I use this mask I notice an improvement to the way my hair feels so I highly recommend it.
