Review of Maybelline Baby Lips

Hey Beauties, today I am going to talk about one of my favorite Maybelline lip products - the Baby Lips, lip balm. My experience with this product has been quite mixed - when I first tried it, I absolutely hated it, but now it is a favorite!

My initial experience with this product was back when it was first released, I purchased the Soothing Cherry flavor (the green packaging with the pink writing). The product felt lovely on my lips but I could not stand the scent and it also tasted pretty bad as well - exactly the same as the L'oreal Color Riche Balm.

After trying Bably Lips Pink Glow as part of my work for Maybelline, I am now a devoted fan. It seems that perhaps Maybelline may have improved the formula of these or maybe the it was only that one flavour which was terrible, I don't know.

I love how the Baby Lips Pink Glow has all the great features of a perfect lip balm. Most importantly, this one has a pleasant scent which is not overpowering and it also has no after-taste (just the way I like it!).

This product is also incredibly hydrating and I have found that it deposits a beautiful colour onto the lips as well - it leaves them looking naturally pink. In terms of staying power this one is on par with other lip balms on the market but what sets it apart is that even after it has disappeared from my lips, they still feel soft.

Sometimes, even though your initial experience with a product might be negative, it is worth giving the product another shot. What is your favorite lip product at the moment?

I never tried it, but since everyone is talking about it, I think I'm going to give it a try.
