Hey lovelies! Since NYX landed on our Aussie shores last year, I have really enjoyed going to Target and playing around with all the new NYX goodies. There is no way that I can go into a shop and not check out the beauty isle for new products to test so this was bound to happen!

I am trying to make the transition into wearing matte lip products so I thought that the NYX Solft Matte Lip Cream would be a good place to start. I bought the colour 'Tokyo' which is a beautiful, vibrant, pastel pink.

Hi lovelies! Today I thought I would talk about an oldie but a goodie - the Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara. I got this one whilst overseas a couple of months ago and have enjoyed using it lately. I remember this one being available in Australia a while ago but I am not sure if it still is so it might be worth checking out your local Priceline.

Hey lovelies! If you have been following me on Twitter or Facebook lately then you probably already know that late last year I decided I wanted to go back to being a blonde after going dark for almost a year. The thing is though, being a blonde comes with extra responsibilities like having to tone regularly.

I was unhappy with the colour my hairdresser did for me recently so I decided that I had to take matters into my own hands and do some at home toning. So I ventured into my local Priceline and picked up this little packet of toner - it only cost around $5.00 so I thought it was worth the risk.

Hi lovelies! I hope that you're having a great week so far. I am so excited because our wedding is coming up this weekend - wow how time flies! It feels like yesterday that we got engaged. Anyways, in preparation of the big day (or should I say days because I am having two weddings, one on Friday and one on Sunday!) I have needed to get my hair up to scratch so that it looks nice and pretty in the photos. As a result, my hairdresser recommended for me to try the Macadamia Oil deed repair masque to help improve the condition of my poor damaged locks in between salon visits.

Hi beauties! I have really been enjoying the beautiful summer weather recently and have been trying to use my ever expanding bronzer collection in the hope that I will find the perfect product to wear for my big day coming up in March. The latest product to make it into my collection has been the Physicians Formula Bronze Booster beads so I thought that I would do a quick review to let you know what I think about this cute little product.

Monday 17 February 2014

Hi lovelies! With the recent release of the Naked 3 (I am eagerly waiting for mine to arrive!), I have been re-discovering the other neutral palettes in my collection. Today I thought I would talk about another of my purchases from Target in the US from last year's holiday adventures. I had heard a lot about Pixi on YouTube so along with the Pixi Radiance Powder I also picked up this Nude Shade Wardrobe.

Hi lovelies! Today we are going to be talking about brush storage. I keep seeing pretty pictures of makeup brush holders on Instagram so I was inspired to give my brush holder an update However, I could not justify paying over $30 for a similar product that I had seen on the internet so I set out to look for an affordable alternative. I thought that you guys would be interested in hearing about what I found so I thought that I would share it with you.

Wednesday 12 February 2014

Hi beauties, today I thought I would do a quick review to let you know what I think about the Sedona Lace brushes from the Midnight Lace set. I thought that after a couple of months of daily use that I now have a good idea about what they are like and am finally ready to talk to you about them.

I purchased the Midnight Lace set and the Se7ven Midnight Lace set together in order to save on shipping costs. A a review of the Se7even Midnight Lace will be up soon as well.

Hey beauties! I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend. Today I wanted to talk about one of my favorite products that I have incorporated into my beauty routine lately - the Lancome Advanced Genifique Youth Activating Serum. If I could sum up this product in one word, it would be 'amazing'! It feels like liquid silk on your skin and makes your skin oh so smooth and soft immediately after application - how could I not love it?

Friday 7 February 2014

Hi everyone, I hope that you have all had a great week, I am so glad that it is the weekend! Today I wanted to talk about a great little product that I discovered recently - the Sheer Lip Crayon by Face of Australia. I am always on the lookout for a quality lip tint so when I stumbled upon this little guy, I knew that I had to give it a try.

Wednesday 5 February 2014

Hi lovelies, today I thought that I would do a quick review of the Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. With the heat wave that has been hitting our shores lately, I have been opting for a tinted moisturizer rather than wearing a full face of foundation every day.

I noticed that a Laura Mercier counter popped up at my local Myer store a few months ago so I thought that now would be the perfect time to do a review on one of her products as it is finally readily available in Australia.

Monday 3 February 2014

Hi lovelies! I hope that you are having a wonderful start to the week. Today I wanted to talk about a product that has been such a big disappointment that I had to share it with you. I actually purchased it intending to use it for my wedding (which is coming up very soon by the way!) and I am so glad that I tested it out before the big day because it would have turned my makeup into a disaster!

I really feel like a sucker for good marketing sometimes and this one sucked me right in! Just like all other Benefit products, this one had funky advertising but this one also made some big claims - it contains statistics like "94% saw dramatic length and volume" and "90% saw base to tip curl". Needless to say, I had high expectations from this mascara and the fact that it set me back $38.00 also contributed towards that.
