Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eyeshadows Review

The Colour Tattoo cream eyeshadows were a huge hit with everyone I know in 2012 so today I thought I would do a quick review on them as I they have made it into my list of top products in 2012.

I only managed to pick up two of the colours whilst on holiday in America a few months ago and I have been on a spending ban ever since so I haven't added to my collection. The two colours which I got were 'Bad to the Bronze' and 'Tough as Taupe' which is on the right.

These products are not only super affordable (I think they retail at around $11.95 at Priceline) but they remind me of the Paintpots by Mac. They are such lovely eyeshadows with a creamy texture. They are also well pigmented and last all day without creasing or budging anywhere for that matter!

The thing that you have to watch out with in relation to these products is that they dry quickly so you need to make sure that you work quickly when applying them. I think that these are a fantastic dupe for Mac's Paintpots and cost only a quarter of the price!

I have been impressed with the quality of these eyeshadows especially because they are so pigmented and do not crease at all. They are great to use as an eyeshadow base or even on their own they are beautiful. I look forward to getting a few more colours and I hope that Australia gets some of the limited edition colours which were released in the United States earlier this year.

    I have both of these and the are such a great product for the price, and they hype they receive online is definitely deserved!
