Review of Benefit's Porefessional

Even though I look after my skin and regularly use products to help reduce the size of my pores, I still get self conscious about them sometimes and need a product to combat this problem quickly and easily.

That's how I discovered, Benefit's Porefessional. It is a two in one kind of product which not only minimises pores but works as a primer as well.

From the first time I tried this product, I was impressed. It has a velvety light, gel consistency which is just so easy to work with. It glides onto the skin beautifully and to my surprise actually works really well in minimising the appearance of pores and even fine lines on your face. It seems that the product settles into the pores and thus making them look invisible under makeup.

I love how this product is so light and does not make my skin feel greasy - actually, I can not even feel that I am wearing it it at all. Applying foundation afterwards is a breeze as it just glides on so much easier than when I am not wearing this product.

Another great thing about this product is the fact that it is completely translucent so it won't affect the way your makeup applies afterwards.

There is actually nothing negative that I can say about this product besides the fact that it is on the pricey side - it costs $53.00 for a 22ml bottle at my local Myer. On the plus side though, a little goes a long way with this product so it will last a good while before having to repurchase.

Overall, I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a quality primer that will also minimise the appearance of your pores.

What's your favorite primer at the moment?

The endless problem with Benefit products - your skin screams yes, and your bank account screams no haha. Good to know this one lives up to the hype. x

I love having primers like this on hand to fill in my pores when I want a flawless look - such a good trick!

I have a deluxe sample of this which I love. It's also lasted a decent amount of time. I also use the Hourglass Mineral Veil and Rimmel Stay Matte Primer.
