Review of Face of Australia Lip Quench Lipstick

Hey beauties! Today I thought I would do a review of two lipsticks that have quickly received 'favorite status' in my books. I could not resist picking these up at Priceline when they had their 40% off all cosmetics sale and I actually wanted to get a few more colours but they were all sold out. It seems like they are very popular and for good reason too!

I ended up picking up two colours - 'Lychee Crush' and 'Peaches & Cream'. Both are gorgeous and beautifully vibrant.

I have heard a lot about these lipsticks and have been waiting to get my hands on them for a while now but they were hard to track down since my local Priceline and Kmart never had any in stock.

Anyways onto the review. I love these lipsticks not only because they are beautifully pigmented but they also last a good while on the lips before they start to disappear. According to the packaging, these lipsticks contain SPF 30+ (perfect for summer!), shea butter and joboba oil. They are also meant to be moisturising on the lips.

Even though I don't find that these lipsticks super moisturising, they are ok and are very comfortable to wear. I like the fact that they don't dry out your lips and I applaud Face of Australia for making a lipstick that contains sunscreen with a high SPF factor.

If I could point to one flaw in this product, it would probably be the scent. These lipsticks have a 'cosmetics' kind of scent which is ok. I would prefer if they weren't scented but given that they are such great quality and value for money, it doesn't bother me that much.

As with all Face of Australia products, these lipsticks are very affordable, retailing at under $10. each. I really love how pigmented they are and the decent lasting power so I will definitely be purchasing a few more colours when I get the chance.

Have you tried these lipsticks? What did you think of them?

Loving the new pictures :) You asked for some feedback on Beautyheaven so maybe one thing that you could try is to make the swatches bigger? But that's just my opinion as I like to see swatches really clearly but it's probably fine for most people :) I'm loving how Australis and Face of Australia are really upping the ante with their products. Everything is so affordable and really good quality :)

I've not tried this brand of makeup before but the colours look great on you. I esp like the peaches and cream one.
