Sigmax Brushes review

I purchased some Sigmax brushes last year during Sigma's black Friday sale but have not got around to doing a proper review on them until now.

I have tried the other brushes that Sigma sells (I have had the 'Make Me Cool' travel kit for a few years now) but none compare to the quality of the Sigmax range.

The Sigmax range is a professional makeup brush line that Sigma sells. All the brushes in this range are synthetic so they are cruelty-free. According to the webiste they are "specially designed for a high definition, flawless makeup application. The brushes feature exclusive Sigmax™ fibers, uniquely designed to apply powder, cream and liquid products without absorption into the bristles".

The two brushes that I purchased (pictured above) were:
  • F82 - Round Kabuki; and
  • F84 - Angled Kabuki
I have been really impressed with these two brushes as I think they are much better quality than the other Sigma brushes that I have tried in the past. Even though these brushes are super dense, I have experienced absolutely no fallout from them! I have also not seen any colour bleeding from them which is also impressive as I had this issue with my other Sigma brushes.

As usual, Sigma provided great customer service and shipping was relatively quick considering that I purchased these during the busiest time and I live all the way in Australia. I also received a complementary blending brush with my purchase which I thought was nice.
I use these brushes every day and would love to add more Sigmax brushes to my collection (maybe when they have them on sale!). One thing to note is that they are a bit harder to clean than your regular makeup brushes. Since these brushes are so dense, I find that it takes a bit of time to get all the product out of them.

Overall, I absolutely love this Sigmax range by Sigma and have been really impressed with the quality of these brushes. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for top quality brushes that will last a long time, without having to pay too much for them.

I am a Sigma Affiliate so I thought I would share the below discount code with you guys - we all like saving money, right?

Please note that I paid for the products reviewed with my own hard earned cash and was not paid by Sigma to promote their products. The above review is my honest opinion.

I recently purchased a powder and pencil brush from them, they threw in one of their new eye shadows as a bonus gift, which I really like,
I've only tried the P80 from the sigmas line which I use for my concealer but I really want to get my hands on the F80 and F82!

Hi Angel, no I've not tried Sigma either. I absolutely love my Cruelty Free/Vegan Friendly brushes by an Australian brush company called Furless so I don't think I need another brush set though I'd try the SigMax should I be able to get them in a Black Friday sale or something. Thanks Billi.

Oooh I love how fluffy these brushes are - they seem like they are a good quality and I'd consider buying them if I found a decent sale! :)
