Review of Blemish Mud Masque

The Skin Clearing Blemish Mud Masque by Montagne Jeunesse is a new product I tried last week. At first I was a bit hesitant to try it because I have sensitive skin but since it has been sitting in my bathroom for months now, I thought that I would finally give it a go and use it up.

To be honest, I have been pleasantly surprised with this product. The instructions are easy to follow and in the packet you receive a decent amount of product so you can easily cover your entire face.

According to the packaging this product contains "natural ingredients to soothe, detox and improve the texture of skin due to the rich formulation of aloe vera juice. Willow cleanses the complexion, while calming and nourishing rosemary is added to the fusion along with witch hazel to leave skin clear, cleansed and refreshed".

I enjoyed using this product as it felt like a pampering session in the comfort of your own home. The product feels very soothing and cool on the skin. It is perfect after a long day at work. It also has a lovely scent which reminds me of eucalyptus.

I left this product on my face for around 20 minutes and by that time, the masque started to dry up and felt like it was tightening on my face. The masque easily washed off with warm water and my skin felt super soft afterwards. Even though using this product on my sensitive skin was a bit of a gamble, however I am happy to report that I got absolutely no breakouts from it nor did it irritate my eczema.

I noticed that my skin felt moisturised and less oily after using this product. Although I didn't really see any noticeable results in relation to blemishes on my skin.

Below is a very flattering photo of me wearing the product - its not the sexiest product to wear I must say! I actually ended up scaring a couple of my family members whilst wearing it!

Overall, I would recommend this product if you are like me and don't have the time to go to a salon to get a facial, this product is a nice alternative once in a while. It is also very affordable, retailing at around $4.00 at my local Priceline.

Have you tried any face masks by Montagne Jeunesse? What did you think of them?
