Review of the Schwarzkopf Extra Care Marrakesh Oil & Coconut Shampoo & Conditioner

I have been using the Schwarzkopf Extra Care Marrakesh Oil & Coconut shampoo and conditioner for the past month or so and have loved the results they have had on my hair. As part of the extra care range, they are suited to normal to stressed hair - this is perfect for me since my hair is still recovering from all the damage I inflicted on it whilst being blonde.

These products not only smell lovely but according to the packaging they also contain organic argan oil which helps boost shine and increase hydration, leaving hair smooth and soft.

The shampoo has a light, creamy consistency which lathers up beautifully on contact with water. I find that it makes my hair feel clean and fresh without stripping its moisture. The conditioner on the other hand has a thicker consistency but it is still easily distributed on your hair. I have found that I get the best results when I apply a small amount to the damaged ends of my hair and leave it on for 3 to 4 minutes. I found that if I applied too much of the conditioner or if I used it near my oily roots, it did not work as well.

My favourite thing about these two products is that they don’t weigh my hair down too much. Even though the ends of my hair are damaged and dry, my roots still have a tendency to get oily so I need to use products with the right balance.

Both the shampoo and conditioner come in generous 400ml bottles that retail at an affordable $6.99 each so they are fantastic value for money. Have you tried any of the products from the Schwarzkopf Extra Care range? What did you think of them?

Great review, I'm currently hunting for a shampoo that cleanses well but still hydrating at the same time, this one sounds good (and affordable!).

I've been thinking about buying these, but I ended up getting a different set from their line as it came in a pack with the oil I wanted to try. I think I want to give this a go, I don't switch up my shampoo so I don't irritate my sensitive scalp but the conditioner could be a contender!

Wow what a coincidence I bought this set (including a treatment mousse too) today! Great to hear that it really works well on your hair and leaves it soft. Definitely looking forward to trying it now :)
