Olay Complete Defence moisturiser

Today I want to talk to you about one of the products which made my  2012 favorites as it is one super fantastic little product.

We all know the benefits of sunscreen but finding one that suits my skin is something that I have struggled to find for years. I am happy to say that after much trial and error with many products, I have finally found a product which contains the sun protection that I want, while not making my face into a grease ball.

According to the packaging this product contains "moisturizer and a non greasy formula with vitamin E, Aloe and Green Tea Extract which replenishes moisture and absorbs quickly into the skin."

The things that this product claims to do are pretty short and simple, and it does them well. This product works perfectly for me, has a beautifully light formula that also feels light on the skin. Most importantly the product absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue, which is usually the thing that makes me really hate sunscreens!

This little product not only contains SPF 30+ sunscreen but also UVA and UVB filters. I feel protected when I wear this product and love to use it underneath all my makeup during summer. The moisturizing properties are a bonus as my main priority is sun protection.

Finally, this product is very affordable. It comes in a 75ml bottle that retails at around $14.99 at Priceline. As I love it so much, I always look out for when it is on special so I ended up picking up an extra bottle of it last week for $10 at Coles. The product has a handy pump dispenser, so it is hygienic to use and you only need one to two pumps of product to cover your entire face and décolletage area. Since a little goes a long way with this product, it does last a while so it is fantastic value for money.

If you are on the lookout for an affordable sunscreen for your face this summer then I highly recommend that you check out this product as it is one of the best that I have tried. The only downside to it is that it has a sunscreen kind of fragrance (since it is a sunscreen!), but it is very slight so it does not bother me at all. I should also mention that this product does not cause me any breakouts which is important for others with sensitive skin.

Unfortunately I am yet to find a good sunscreen formula for my body because all of the ones that I have tried make me feel uncomfortably greasy. If you know of a good body sunscreen with at least SPF 30+ please let me know, I am open to all recommendations!

Does it cause "white cast" when used?

Why go for expensive brands when you can rely on Olay eh?

I'll have to check this out. Right now I'm using Neutrogena's sheer liquid sunscreen. It doesn't leave me oily or sticky.
