Review of the L'Oreal Paris Revitalift BB Cream

I think that the biggest thing in makeup this year was BB creams and it seems that almost every brand has now come out with their own version of it. I love the idea behind BB creams so I thought I would share my thoughts about this one which I trialed recently.

The L'Oreal Paris Revitalift BB Cream claims to be a unique product in the BB cream market because it contains anti-ageing properties which according to the product description fits the 10 signs of ageing and even UV damage.

The product comes in a convenient 50ml bottle which is quite a good size as it is easy to carry it lasts a good while because you only need one pump of the product in order to cover your entire face. The pump dispenser is also great because it makes the product hygienic to use.

The product has a pleasant scent which did not irritate my skin and it was not too overpowering either. I think that the best thing about it is the coverage it gives. Compared to other BB creams which I have tried, this one gives impressive coverage comparable to a light coverage foundation.

Like other BB creams I have tried, this one has a thick, creamy consistency which does absorb well into the skin. It also has SPF 15+ and UV filters which are good to have although I would prefer if it had SPF 30+ especially for the Australian summer.

The product doesn't feel heavy on the skin and if you set it with powder it will last throughout the day. I like that this product has a few anti ageing ingredients thrown in there especially since I am in my twenties and want to start early prevention of wrinkles. I do note though that after using this product for a couple of weeks, I did not notice any changes to the appearance of my skin but I hope that all these anti ageing properties in this product are working at least a little.
A bit too dark without a tan
With a tan it blends pretty well with my skin
Overall I really liked this product although I would prefer if it came in more than the two 'light' and 'medium' shades as I found that the shade 'light' was a bit too dark for me when I was not wearing a tan and made my face appear a bit yellow.

Did you get on the BB cream bandwagon in 2012? Which one is your favorite?

Disclaimer: I received this product for free as part of a trial team. I was not paid for my review nor am I affiliated with the company in any way. My 100% honest opinion, as always :)

I've given this one a miss as I thought it would be too dark for me, and I think I was right!
Also, you have dark hair now! It's pretty :) x

Great review! I recently purchased this bb cream too and loved the way it kept my face looking dewy and moisturised through the day. I would agree with you that it didn't seem to make any notable changes to my skin in terms of anti-aging. I also would prefer a lighter shade than the 'light' one!

    Happy New Year!

I wasn't a fan of this BB cream - it came off my skin in balls when I tried to rub it in! Plus the 'light' shade really wasnt light enough for me....the BB cream hunt continues (for me!)

This provides an important social outlet for many youngsters in a time when more and
more people are becoming increasingly isolated from one another.
A short video that requires minimal digital effects can be rendered in just a few
minutes while a feature length animated movie can take up to several weeks because of
the complexity of the effects needed and the 3D animation itself.
You just read the instruction, know which buttons to press to handle the vehicle and just jump into the game.
