My everyday moisturizer - Review of the Vaseline Aloe Fresh Lotion

Now that the weather is slowly starting to heat up again I have been getting more conscious about protecting my skin from the sun. I have forever been searching for a good quality sunscreen that will not make me feel like I have been dipped in oil so when I saw the Vaseline Total Moisture Aloe Fresh moisturizer at my local Woolworths, I thought that I would give it a try.

There are so many reasons why I really love using this moisturizer every day. Firstly it smells lovely - it has a nice, fresh aloe scent which I love. Secondly, it has the perfect formula which is not too runny or too thick. The product is light and absorbs quickly into the skin without making it feel sticky or greasy. Once the product is absorbed into the skin there is no greasy or oily residue like what you get from a conventional sunscreen. I actually feel comfortable when wearing this product!

Not only is this product super moisturizing on your skin but it also contains UVA and UVB protection as well as SPF 15+ sunscreen. I wish that this product came in a SPF 30+ formula, then it would be perfect for everything! Unfortunately, it doesn't so I use this product when I know I won't be spending too much time in the sun.

This Vaseline moisturizer comes in a compact sized 200 ml bottle perfect for travelling and retails at around $7 at my local Woolworths which is pretty good value for money.

Even though I really love using this product, I feel that it does not provide the level of sun protection that I would like so I need to keep searching for something that does. I wonder whether there is such a thing as a non greasy sunscreen out there?

Have you found a good non greasy sunscreen? I would love to hear your recommendations for one to try this summer.
